MSU Alumni Club of Metro Chicago Annual Picnic for incoming Freshmen and parents. - An invitation only event. The MSU Alumni Club of Metro Chicago invites incoming Freshmen and their parents to a picnic at Higgins' Tavern. Burgers, brats, chicken breast sandwiches, hot dogs, soft drinks and water are complimentary from 1 to 4pm. The event will take place on the back patio and garage rooftop deck.

38th Annual Big Ten Kickoff Luncheon - Cost $100. We have our table of ten, 2 spots remain at this time. The luncheon is at the Hyatt Regency Chicago, 151 East Wacker Drive. The luncheon begins at 11:30, Before the luncheon, attendees are welcome to visit each school's greeting table for posters, autographs etc. The luncheon features each of the Big Ten coaches speaking about his team. After the luncheon, the Palm Restaurant (323 East Wacker Drive) is sponsoring a free reception with light hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar for Coach Dantonio. He will provide a more in depth outlook on the upcoming season. This should begin about 1:30pm.

Annual Neighborhood Appreciation Block Party - School Street will be closed from Racine Avenue east to the alley from noon to 7pm. We will provide complimentary burgers, brats, hot dogs, chicken breast sandwiches and sweet corn. You may bring your own beverages or purchase them at the tavern. The Jumping Jack unit is scheduled to be here between 1 and 2:30pm. We have also requested an in service stop from the Chicago Fire Department. Join us for an afternoon of fun with friends and neighbors!

Michigan State at Notre Dame Bus Trip and Tailgate Party - Cost $100. THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE A TICKET TO THE GAME. GAME TICKETS ARE YOUR OWN RESPONSIBILITY. Includes round trip transportation on a luxury motor coach (beer and bathroom on the bus) tailgate parties before and after the game, and more. The bus will leave the Tavern at 8am and make a Rush Street area pickup at 8:30. We should be back at the Tavern around 10:30pm. We have 20 spots left on the bus. Reservations taken with payment.

Includes game ticket, round trip transportation on a luxury motor coach (beer and bathroom on the bus) tailgate parties before and after the game, and more. For suburban residents, we will make a pickup and drop off at the Wellington Restaurant in Arlington Heights. When they set the kickoff time, we will set our departure time. Reservations taken with payment. We have 50 spots for this event. If you are doing part of the event, the breakdown is: Ticket $50, Bus $50, Tailgate Parties $40.
